Mt Hotham is 1861m (6026 ft) high.

There are 13 lifts including 8 Quad Chairs. Conditions permitting, all lifts open at 8:30am with the Drift Lift, Gotcha, Keogh's and

The Orchard closing at 4:00pm, most other lifts close at 4:30pm, except for the Big D and the Summit Quad which close at 5pm.

There are extensive snow making facilities on Big D, The Summit and the Heavenly Valley runs. 

There is also a helicopter service to Fall's Creek which runs in favourable weather.

The mountain and surrounding areas are criss crossed with extensive cross country ski trails that go as far as Dinner Plain and Fall's Creek.

A free bus service provides transport from one end of the village to the other and also down to the overnight car parks.

There is a choice of ski hire outlets and there are numerous restaurants and bars, often with live music.
